The Amulet of Borflagon is a magical item that first appears in "Bao Bao's Revenge".
History[]
Before the events of the show, Mao Mao and Bao Bao discovered the Amulet inside a cave. The two take the item, only to be attacked by a scarred monster. Bao Bao runs off with the necklace when he goes to chase after a butterfly, accidentally leaving Mao Mao behind. This leads Mao Mao to lose his tail and feeling betrayed by his partner.
After the duo reunite in "Bao Bao's Revenge", the dog gives Mao Mao the Amulet as a sign of goodwill before running off again. Mao Mao is mad that his friend has abandoned him a second time, but decides to hold on to the Amulet, possibly suggesting some level of forgiveness on Mao Mao’s part.

Bao Bao's most precious memory is the time he spent with Mao Mao.
