Boss Hosstrich

Boss Hosstrich is a recurring character in Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart. He is one of the primary antagonists in Orangusnake's remaining crewmembers in the Sky Pirates.

Boss Hosstrich is a cybernetic ostrich.

Personality[]

Boss Hosstrich is a Sky Pirate, but he's a Sky Pirate with honor. In He's the Sheriff, Boss accepts the Manner's Duel with King Snugglemagne, and even though he lost, he was good on his word to give the aerocycle back to him despite his boss's objections. He can show a sinister side, like Sleeper Sofa, when he asked if he could be the one to kill Mao Mao. Other than that, he is very laid back and his loyal to Orangusnake and his fellow crew members Ramaraffe and Ratarang.

Abilities[]

Egg Cannon: Boss Hosstrich can deploy a cannon from his chest to fire explosive, egg-shaped projectiles.
Manners: His manners are shown to rival those of King Snugglemagne, as he nearly won the match, but lost due to the king's surprise attack.
Strength: He is strong enough to carry Mao Mao and Adorabat in each of his arms, and he once kicked Badgerclops off a cliff using only one leg.
Speed: He is able to run incredibly fast, as seen in "Weapon of Choice", wherein he also ran up to Mao Mao and kicked him before he could react.
Turntable: He can transform his midsection into a record turntable, with his shoulders transforming into speakers.

Weakness

As seen in the episode "Try Hard", he's very vulnerable to electricity due to his metal appendages.

His name appears to be a pun derived from Boss Hogg on The Dukes of Hazzard, Hoss Cartwright of Bonanza, and his species name.
His personality is based on the stereotypical southern gentleman.
It is revealed in "Captured Clops" that he likes playing with puppets when he is alone.
